Child sitting on a Saturday night. Sam is at CMC youth camp. Sab is out. Ethan is sick and Shawn, Yimin and Susan have brought him to see a doctor.
We spent some time watching TV and then I spent a bit of time googling to see if I could find some inspiring material for my next sermon. I thought I should update my blog and share what’s on my mind.
After Ethan had left the house, Joel and I prayed for his healing. I felt God saying, “You’re worrying. Don’t. I have made him strong.” Of course. Babies aren’t that fragile, despite their looking so helpless.
I’m so glad that David and Lynda found a house they liked. A terrace at Pasir Ris. He said something like, “it’s a home”. How homesick they must be.
My good ole wine fridge is not working, the thermostat I think. Temperature won’t go below 21 degrees C. Good excuse to start drinking up the whole lot!
Lord, please let Italy experience a freak cool summer!
Lydia asked me a while ago what she could pray over me for. What a wonderful girl! I pray for everyone but what do I want prayed for? Hmmmm… A lot actually.
Property prices and rentals are rising. We got our loft at 171 at such an incredible price. However, I have started to be frightened about whether we can afford it when the lease runs out.
I called a friend whom I have not seen or spoken to for about 10 years yesterday. He will be in Singapore next week and I’m looking forward to our meeting on Tuesday.

I pray that my pastor and family will be kept strong then – in all aspects of that word and at all times and seasons of life.
