Arise and shine
A coworker and pastor from my previous church has been visiting our fellowship since the beginning of the year. He has marvelously encouraging words for us and without further comments I would like to share them with you here.

Image – turtle standing on dry land, sun is shining on its back, alarm clock is ringing its head off on its back, turtle is perky and alert – arise and shine for thy light is come, for this is a new beginning, a new year of possibilities, God says. I want you to open my people to the light that has shined in the midst of them, so declare this word to My people – saying, my Sun is shining upon your face, it is the sun of My glory, My glorious presence, so arise and shine for Me in your different place, in your different spheres: in your workplace, in your place of ministry, in your home and family life. Arise and shine for the sunlight of God, His favor, shines upon this place.
Fasten your seatbelts for the ride that is to come: for I have arisen in the church, in the temple and I will pray. So begin to make your house a house of prayer, begin to fasten your seatbelts to live a life of purity, for I have begun the process of pruning in the midst of thee, says God. Even though the turtle is slow in the race, it is slow and steady, Your faith is pleasing to Me. Be not dismayed at your slow progress for I’m pleased with You.
