The third installation of Vineyard Loft, as De our very nervous emcee called it, was smashing like the previous ones. We had 3 gigs this time round, starting off with a 3 piece band led by Joel (Nigel's cousin), Nigel, with Samuel on drums, doing renditions of Switchfoot, U2 and Foo Fighters etc.
Their gig was memorably followed by performances of Jon & Nigel's original songs "I've got a story" and "You set me free" respectively.
In the final segment of the night, we were treated to the smooth music belonging to our very talented and young duo, Enqing & Charis. The lyrics of their songs sound absolutely wacky - "Toilet paper love letters", "lunching with Faceless Friends", and some Strawberry Kisses and Chocolate Milk? Despite the very zany song titles, I can assure you that their performance was nothing but solid. ;)
