Kingdom Inroads

Kingdom Inroads is a special initiative of this fellowship (we are a founder sponsor!)

God’s kingdom is making inroads in communities through myriad ways. For example, huge advances have been made through the work of foreign missionaries, the setting up of mission schools, and mercy works like the one exemplified by Mother Teresa.

Kingdom Inroads wants to be a part of this movement, and sees great potential to bring further inroads by partnering with indigenous pastors that lead local church plants, and other community leaders.

Kingdom Inroads especially seeks to empower the local partners by facilitating the implementation of micro-enterprises and community development projects (like bringing clean water, agricultural techniques, eco-tourism, etc) that will improve the lives of those in the communities.

It is truly amazing the grace of God upon NLV and our members, that leads us to sponsor this initiative. But it has been a progression:

Micro loans given by NLV MicCE via KIVA. Because we can.
This is an ongoing program and at the time of writing, NLV has extended 11 micro-loans.

Mercy works in Chiang Mai. Because we care.
There are now 19 Karen children staying in the new hostel which we are supporting in Chiang Mai. With Kingdom Inroads, we have broader access (ways and means) to channel more helps in order to see the children right through the end of high school and even to University.

Vineyard Indonesian Partnership. Because we must (be discipling the nations.)
NLV joined the Vineyard Indonesian Partnership in 2009 to come alongside and work with Indonesian pastors to establish a Vineyard church planting movement in the nation. To date, there are 23 Indonesian church plants!

Kingdom Inroads. Because altogether we are better (at advancing the Kingdom)
Finally, Kingdom Inroads. As you may have envisaged, Kingdom Inroads serves to gather and deploy expertise and resources, and will pursue a strategy to preach the gospel of the Kingdom and disciple nations via a holistic approach of church planting, mercy works, community development and business as missions.
