NLV’s priorities are to Worship, Belong & Serve, Grow & Go.

Here’s how you can and participate in the life and vision of New Life Vineyard.

Sunday Meetings
Prayer Meetings
Events (Vineyard Loft, Pot-luck Dinner, TGIF, etc)

The best way to begin to Worship and Belong at NLV is to come regularly to our Sunday Fellowship Meetings. You will also discover practical help for living in the world today, and be encouraged by prayers for one another. While it may feel like you are just attending a program, your coming could lead to so much more for you: belonging to a community and family of believers and forming deep and lasting friendships.

Other ways to begin is to share a meal together! If you are new it is likely that someone will ask you to join them for lunch after our Sunday meetings. In any case, everyone loves to eat here, so don’t hesitate to suggest going for lunch together!

Look out for upcoming events! These are to chill out, have fun, and bring friends and include food of course! You can even listen to live music by promising Christian musicians and artists, or play board games, etc.

Small Groups

Small groups are great way for you to take that next step of making this your fellowship. Sometimes called cell groups, our small groups are simply of different groups of people who meet regularly to grow in their relationship with God and each other through a time of worship, teaching, praying for one another and just hanging out and having fun together.

Worship and Prayer Ministries
Financial Giving
Helps and Hospitality
Leadership and Church Governance

Take “ownership” of NLV. Belonging comes when you realize that whatever you feel, say and do vitally contribute to building a loving and supportive fellowship and community. There are many ways to serve but everyone matters and everyone has a part to play. Extra hands and warm bodies make the work light.

Serve in the Worship Ministry if you can sing or play a musical instrument, or if you want to help with the sound and video.

Give of the tithes and offerings. Tithe simply means a tenth part. Tithing is returning the first 10 % of the resources or your income back to God. Offerings are what you give above and beyond your tithe. Your financial gifts to the fellowship shall enable help to be offered to those in need, and to sustain and pay for the activities and ministries of the fellowship. Eventually, the financial gifts shall also provide for those who are vocationally set apart to serve the Lord: your pastors, missionaries and others whom the fellowship may send out.

Much of what we do will require hospitality (like opening up your place or being a host), administrative action (planning, organizing, going for things) and simply the hundreds of little jobs that need to get done to have church up and running.

If you have an inclination to lead a ministry or a small group or when an opportunity presents itself (like when your pastor suggests it) step up and start functioning. If that works out we will be happy to affirm your appointment and give you a title in due course.

Baptism/Training and Equipping Classes
Discipleship/Internship Programs
Vineyard Conferences

Become all that God has intended for you through the various training, equipping and ministry opportunities that our fellowship offers.

We utilize extensively training by example, the show and tell model. However, we also encourage you to sign up for classes, programs and conferences, which we shall organize from time to time.

Please inform your lead pastor if you have a desire to participate in going deeper, going higher, our leadsership devlopment program and an integral element of our discipleship process, or if you wish to enroll for our internship program especially designed to affirm, nurture leaders and pastors for service in NLV and in church planting.

Outreach & Gathering Ministry
Teaching & Preaching Ministry
Mercy Works (Nong Tao/Chiang Mai Hostel)
Missions & Church Planting
NLV MicCE

These are the different kinds of ministries in our fellowship and the ways you can currently serve and go and do good works.

Mercy Works is our ministry for service to those in need, and NLV MicCE (or microcredit and enterprise) has an agenda to invest in microenterprises or to provide microcredit/loans to enable the poor to start their own businesses. The microenterprise gives work and income to the recipient. Accordingly MicCE is a means to empower the poor, bring them out of conditions of financial hopelessness and poverty, and help them to become financially viable.

Family life (Marriage, parenting, etc)
Money Wise

As we gather more resources and co-workers we would like to present specialized ministries to display God’s wisdom and model (living by God’s principles) such as in the area of family life (Marriage, parenting, etc), and in financial matters (being money wise).
